Sheridan lamps are beautiful . I love the color, shape and height of these lamps. I have mixed views on the shade. The buttons that look like hammer nails are not well secured to the shade. several were off on arrival but I reglued them back in place. The shade is an elegant paisley design but very opaque even when lite. When lite the design disappears and you have hour-glass lighting. I really wanted to give this lamp a higher rating but sadly can not due to lighting issues and poor quality on shade . May have to find a different shade as I really like the base.
